Good hotel with facilities and great staff
Pros: 24/7 front desk, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, big and clean room, parking lot and very good location in a lively neighborhood.
Cons: Sport facilities quite limited and rusty / not working. Working hours for gym and pool could be extended.

Great stay
Pros: Great breakfast with gluten free breads and dairy free milk, plenty of hot and cold options to choose from, free parking, comfortable rooms with balcony.
Cons: Unfortunately the hair dryer in our room did not work. To use the spa (jacuzzi, sauna) it's €10 per person for 3 hours, I think this should be free.

Good value hotel in convenient location.
Pros: The location is convenient, a little way out of town but easy to walk or get the bus. Our room was pleasant and had a separate sitting area and balcony which we liked. We found the hotel to be good value for money and adequate for our needs. We would consider staying there again if we returned to Madeira
Cons: Nothing particular. The photo of the pool used to advertise the hotel does not seem accurate though.

Pros: Well-located hotel on an easy-to-access avenue, offering free parking, a great breakfast, and a lively bar. The room was spacious with amazing views. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

We were only sorry we couldn’t stay longer
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, they even gave fresh fruit in your room, great attention to detail- even down to the paper flowers on the toilet paper, the view of ocean and mountains was great.
Cons: Shower pressure was low but just a minor thing- we would have liked to stay longer it was a great hotel

Wonderful. Hotel was perfect for me and my 3 year old daughter.
Pros: The breakfast buffet was excellent. The lunch and dinner buffets were also pretty good if you have kids and don't fancy venturing out some days. The sea view from our 11th floor sea facing balcony was outstanding. The pool area was lovely. Clean and great for the kids. Room was clean and very comfortable.
Cons: I did not like the birds in the very small cages on the grassy area by the pool. The cages were in the direct sun and some of the birds looked thoroughly miserable. If they are going to keep birds they should be better housed.

Large suite with a good location.
Pros: Lovely location overlooking the sea front, with buses across the road going to Funchal. The room is big with a separate living area, with a balcony and wonderful sea views. The pool area was nice with a pool bar - reasonable prices. Breakfast was expansive and nice. On the airport bus route, which is extremely convenient.
Cons: The suite was a little tired in places. The hairdryer worked only intermittently. The bodywash/shampoo product quality, in my opinion, could have been better.

Pros: We got a great room with a sea view, the hotel grounds are beautiful, the pool was warm. The breakfast has something for everyone.
Cons: We had problems with the hairdryer, it’s clear that renovation could use some help. But the price/quality ratio is excellent

Comfortable and good value.
Pros: Great location. Lovely sea view from the 10th floor. The room was great (1010), a very good sized balcony, and a separate lounge area. Good value for money. Not too busy when we stayed in mid June. Staff were all very helpful and friendly. We had stayed here before and would certainly stay here again. Easy walk into the centre of Funchal, also serviced by numerous regular bus services. The airport bus stop is 1 minute away on foot, €10 return. Loads of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.
Cons: Nothing to dislike. However, it's worth pointing out that there is currently a development in progress over the road, so during the day building works are audible, that may impact on people's enjoyment around the poolside. Didn't bother us though, as we were out all day.
