Pros: Great location, very clean, big and comfortable room, access to outdoor lounging area. Lovely receptionist Mariangela was very friendly and helpful, recommended many great places, which really made our trip so much better! We would have felt lost without her. Also there are super cute and friendly cats around the hostel!!!

A quiet oasis close to the center of Funchal

Pros: The room was spacious and quiet. The building is set back from the road and feels like an oasis (it is even overlooking a banana plantation). Everything was modern and clean. The kind lady from the reception was extremely knowledgeable and shared her insights into the history of Madeira with me. The old town is just a quick walk away.
