Great stay!!

Pros: Loved the room! It was bigger than expected and clean. Staff was kind. Breakfast was great with a lot of options. Would love to stay again.

Excellent hotel in a really good location.

Pros: Staff on arrival desk were friendly and helpful. Room was spotless and nicely appointed, with excellent view. Breakfast in the restaurant had varied options for everyone, replenished regularly and staff were plentiful, friendly and efficient.

Cons: Not much really. Only downside for us was the pillows were too soft and TV channels in English wete a little limited, but no show-stopper there!

Pros: Fantastic access to gym, pool and the spa. Great breakfast and varied options. Everyday we came back to the room and found we had a plate of fruit or cakes waiting for us! Lovely touch.

Cons: Rooms not sound proof, very loud neighbours.

Fantastic short break

Pros: Nice lobby area, rooms were spacious, clean. Our room had a nice side seaview, balcony. Comfortable, good sized bed. We were there for a birthday celebration and staff went all out of their way to make the day special for us. Everyone was very kind and helpful, this includes the hard working restaurant and cleaning staff. Reception/management staff helped me through resolving some issues with my booking. Evening entertainment is a pleasant option. For breakfast there was a selection of cheeses, salami, various breads, rolls, croissant, pastries, fruit, salads, yoghurts, cereals. And there was a hot section of cooked breakfast with all kinds of eggs, pancakes, baked beans, you name it. If you feel the need, there is also prosecco to round up your breakfast. We had a fantastic stay!

Cons: We couldn't fault anything really. The sauna wasn't in working order during our stay but we were able to use one at the sister hotel, in 5 mins walk from the hotel.

Meeting most expectations for a 1-week stay in Funchal. Good location and friendly staff.

Pros: At breakfast, despite generally great choices and delicious fresh fruit on display, there was a lack of sweets (cake/brownies etc) variety on offer. Coffee from coffee machine is usually not as good a freshly bread one. Staff very helpful, and swift in clearing tables.

Cons: Very poor wifi reception on 5th floor, the sundeck. Special massage offer was announced with candles and music, but had none of this, without any explanation given.

Pros: Loved the pools. Enjoyed the views. Liked just having breakfast. The onside a la carte was excellent and used it twice on our 4 night stay. Made use of outdoor pool every day even in December. Loved our room 649.
