Beautiful hotel and comfortable stay.Lovely view and great service.

Pros: The location was perfect close to the city also close to the beach. The hotel was fantastic,we ate lots of times there for dinner.Never disappointed, enjoyed the breakfast as well.Nice selection of food and drinks.

Cons: The noise on the corridor was quite loud. the hotel should invest proper doors for the rooms.

A place you want to come back to!

Pros: A wonderful hotel with a beautiful view and a convenient location. The room was clean and cozy. The staff are friendly and always ready to help with any questions. Many thanks to the entire team — it really makes us want to come back again!

Cons: However, the overall impression was slightly affected by the towels and bed linen, which were clean but quite old and gray rather than white. The room was located close to the road, and at night the noise from cars and motorcycles was disturbing. I wasn’t aware of this drawback beforehand. Next time, I will take this into account when booking.

Pros: Spacious room Kind helpfull staff Nice area (close to Forum Madeira mall) There is a path along the shore from the Lido all the way to the Fomosa beach (2.3 km from the hotel) and all the way to Camara de Lobo village (4.8 km from the hotel)

Cons: Although spacious the rooms lack character, as well as the entrance and bar. The entire hotel has a cold, impersonal feel. Bathroom has the most basic shower head (and poor water pressure) in sharp contrast to the 4*

Pros: The hotel is at an awesome location, near the shopping centre, Funchal’s old town is 35-40mins on foot. The staff is professional and friendly, really helpful. The breakfast is wholesome, you can find something new every day. The facilities are nice, but the ocean is also close so you can swim there too.

Cons: The allergy list is a bit confusing (one day the scrambled eggs contains milk, the other day not..). Even if it’s written in the room, they don’t always change towels if you put them on the floor.

Pros: It was very neat, the buffet, the restaurant, the pool, everything was great excellent ! We were not that far from Funchal and you can access the Ocean by foot from the hotel.

Cons: Unfortunately the SPA was not accessible because fully booked. Be sure to reserve as soon as you arrive.

A beautiful setting with great amenities, though a few small details stopped it from being a perfect stay.

Pros: I had a really lovely stay. The view from the room was absolutely beautiful – it was such a nice way to start and end each day. The hotel was spotless throughout, and the room itself was a good size, with plenty of space to relax and feel comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool – it was large, well-maintained, and never felt overcrowded. Whether you wanted a proper swim or just a relaxing dip, it was perfect. Overall, a great place to stay and I’d definitely come back.

Cons: There were a few things that could be improved. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, largely due to the lumpy pillows, which made it a bit difficult to get a restful night’s sleep. The air conditioning also wasn’t the most effective – I could never quite get the room as cool as I would’ve liked, especially during the warmer parts of the day. For a 4-star hotel, I was also surprised that there was only an all-in-one body wash provided in the shower – I would have expected separate shampoo and conditioner. The location is worth noting too – the hotel is about an hour’s walk from the town centre. That said, they do offer a free shuttle bus every few hours, which is a handy option if you’d prefer not to walk. All in all, it was a pleasant stay with some lovely highlights like the views and the pool. With a few small improvements, it could easily go from good to great.
