Beautifully relaxing with very helpful, and warm staff.

Pros: We found the property to be presented tastefully, was very well cared for and relaxing.

Cons: We liked most things about the property but felt that the “snooker room” was an area that could be developed to be more of an area for real relaxation and comfort . Warm and welcoming reading room with cards and board games with perhaps a small bar with tea, coffee and a few small pastries etc. All presented with the same degree of taste and comfort as the rest of the hotel.

A very relaxing stay at this hotel. Madeira has a lot to offer and we hope to return.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and always helpful! The food was delicious and service excellent! Enjoyed the poolside and jacuzzi facilities. The yoga session was very good with Susannah, would recommend going. A good extra at the hotel. Gardens were full of flowers.

Cons: Nothing, it was all good.

The hotel offered excellent facilities, but the standout was the exceptional staff.

Pros: The facilities were excellent, but what truly stood out for us was the staff. Everyone was exceptional—helpful, attentive, and always in good spirits. The pool was well-maintained, with towels and deckchairs readily available at any time of day. We also had access to the sauna. The hotel is situated away from the town center, making it peaceful and quiet. We loved the garden as well!

Cons: We loved everything, but if we had to be critical, we would mention the small water glasses at breakfast (about 150ml). We found ourselves needing to refill our water quite frequently during the meal.

Absolutely amazing couldn’t fault it

Pros: Beautiful residence and beautiful gardens with truly amazing staff

Cons: The pathways were a little difficult to walk along because of the cobblestone. It would be quite hard going for people who have mobility difficulties.
