Great

Pros: Excellent large room with huge comfy bed. Old fashioned shower over bath but powerful for all that. Generous supplies left out for you (razors, toothbrushes etc) Hotel slightly faded and old fashioned but this did not detract from quality. Has sauna and pool

A perfect stay in Madeira

Pros: Very confortable hotel, with friendly staff. Tasteful breakfast, either for salted food or sweet. In 1 hour and half you can reach every place in Madeira

A decent stay for one night

Pros: We chose this place due to its proximity to the airport on our last night. Overall its a nice comfortable stay

Cons: The place had a lot of maintenance so you couldn't enjoy all the facilities. Its very quiet and not very lively but that could also be a good thing for some

An enjoyable stay

Pros: I liked the quiet surroundings, the design of the room and the view to a very green landscape. Breakfast and dinner options were enough for us, although not such a big variety on plant based options. With one exception, the personal was friendly and made us feel welcomed.

Cons: In the room there were a few little insects ( smaller than ants) and the daily cleaning was not very thorough ( they almost never wiped the floor). After each cleanup, the personal leaves small candies , which is a nice gesture , but that attracted even more little bugs. We chose this property also for the sauna that was out of order for our entire stay ( 7 nights). We brought up the topic , but we were dismissed quite rapidly with a vague “we will fix it”. With some small additional attention to details and improvements , it could be an excellent stay.

Decent hotel with nice pool

Pros: team prepared a takeaway breakfast box, thank you. Pool and grass area was lovely, rooms were nice.

Cons: Bed was comfy, although would be better to have the twin singles attached to not form a gap between beds for a couple sleeping. Called the rooms late at night asking to finalise bill, when it had already been finalised at check in to avoid that. No view of golf course, it's across the road.

Magic stay in the mountains of Madeira

Pros: Very attentative staff, location fantastic and breakfast delicious. Everything was clean and we felt like we had a royal treatment at this magic place. Highly recommend!

Excellent stay . Very well designed rooms and excellent amenities in the room .

Pros: Breakfast was nice but has limited capacity . Very limited choice for vegetarians for dinner though team tried their best . Restaurant is small .

Cons: Vegetarian offering . Bigger capacity in restaurant . More English speaking staff .
