Vacation with a view

Pros: Great breakfast - local fruits, variaty of food. Great location, view from the room. Great cleaning Good spa

Cons: No free parking avaliable - 15eur per day or you search around in the city. Saunas could be hotter.

Pros: Very good location, nice room,big balcony, clean Was visiting in January so only used the indoor pool and Jacuzzi which was again very nice, outdoors pools look also great and great view from the rooftop pool Breakfast was great

Great place for easy access to Funchal and a superb breakfast.

Pros: Stay here every year for a couple of nights before flying home. Great breakfast , pool and easy walk into the centre of Funchal.

Maderia hotel

Pros: Hotel was stunning, the decor, cleanliness, breakfast buffet was amazing. All hotel staff couldn't have been more helpful. Small nice touches were so thoughtful like bed covers pulled down a little at night and a chocolate put on the bed. Outside areas were very pretty and well maintained.

Cons: The bath plug was very hardworking get out of the bath.

Magical Madeira

Pros: The hotel is beautiful, room was comfortable, fantastic location also family friendly for my daughter.

Cons: It was extremely noisy at night time. 5 free parking spaces outside is very poor for such a large hotel. I was with my partner at least have 2 alcohol beverages in the mini fridge.

Lovely luxury hotel, a little old, but still very good

Pros: Cosy beds, nice breakfast and breakfast area, attentive stuff, the hotel itself is very spacious.

Cons: The indoor swimming pool was quite cold

Great hotel, friendly staff and fantastic location.

Pros: The room was nicely decorated and clean. We were 3 adults in one room and 2 adults in another. We found it to be quite roomy even with an extra bed. The bathroom was nicely decorated, with a bathtub. There was a mini fridge in the room that was restocked with drinks(non alcoholic) each day during our stay, plus we had a gift waiting for us to try on the table. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of selection and in a beautiful area of the hotel over looking the pool and the ocean. Location for us was great as we could walk to the things we were interested in. There was also a tourist information basically on the property as well as a small corner store only a few hundred meters away.

Cons: Can’t really say there was anything specific.

Pros: The proximity to restaurants, town. The ambience of the garden and ocean views.

Cons: Breakfast needs an upgrade,bacon was not tasty.
