Cons: the room was too warm. we couldn’t make the cooler work Operating instructions should be provided but weren’t. The shower was a wet room type which caused a lot of water spread beyond the shower so made it a bit difficult to use so we used the bath mat as a barrier to contain the spread

Nice pools and nicely located

Pros: Location and both pools are pretty nice. Hotel staff was really amazing. Breakfast is good. Plenty of parking space as well.

Cons: While the hotel was clearly renewed, there are a few things that require some attention. The long corridors make too much echo and there is a lot of noise you can hear from people talking and doors closing. I’d say improving this would make a huge difference. Also, sometimes there are some parties or weddings nearby that make a lot of noise until 3am and there’s nothing the hotel can do about it. This is worse if your room is faced towards the hill side.

Pros: Great location, views amazing, breakfast and dinners nice, staff nice, both pools were great

Cons: Bathroom could do with a small refurb honestly. it looked dirty even though it was cleaned and everytime I showered the water was seeping up from underneath one of the floor tiles. At least all of the sealant can be replaced as it was looking mouldy

Overall, we were satisfied with our stay👍

Pros: We liked our room; it was spacious, with a large bathroom and a private terrace with sun loungers. The location was excellent, with shops and cafés nearby.

Cons: The breakfasts were tasty, but very monotonous — the same every day. The parking is very small for such a hotel, and after 6:00 p.m. it’s hard to find a spot.

Pros: Breakfast, thermal pool, relaxed atmosphere, excellent staff, and complimentary upgrade due to a situation completely out of the hotel’s control

Pros: We stayed for a couple of days, and the hotel was amazing. The rooms were clean, and there was a large restaurant and relaxation area. We were also very pleased with the wellness area, SPA, and both the outdoor and indoor pools. The breakfast was fantastic, and the service was excellent. The girl at the reception helped us with some issues. We would be happy to stay again.

Lovely hotel in a great spot

Pros: Lovely property, situated in a great spot not too far to walk to the town centre of Funchal where there are great restaurants and activities. Nice clean design, the staff were friendly and helpful, the pool was nice.

Cons: The bed’s are very hard, but we still slept well.
